I made these for Christmas gifts....20 of them and now making more for Elders/Deacons Retreat...really are pretty easy to make now that I have the knowledge of how to!!!

We built 3 kitchen playsets for the "grands" this Christmas...the blue one stays at my house and the pink and brown are Jaleighs and the pink and green are Amanda & Chloeys! See down at the bottom of posts!

Christmas is over and on to a NEW YEAR!

We were so blessed this Christmas to go to Georgia and share it with my daughters in laws! They welcomed us into their home and hearts and we were loved on by the whole family and we enjoyed the holidays with them. Before we left Dallas, we had lunch with some longtime friends of ours in Lewisville. Cokie & Sidney gave us 2 books that I believe have changed my life and the way I think and how I help people....To not be so judgemental but help them anyway, to be the arms and feet of Jesus no matter how bad they may be. In the process of reading the second book I felt God tugging at my heart to be a blessing to a ministry in our church and town. That we dont always have to send our resources out of state or to another larger town. We have needs right here in San Saba, so for the next month my heartbeat will be making my "play" felt food and making a grocery bag to put them in and sell them for $100 a bag, that will not only give them a bag of play food for their kids or grandkids to play with, but also help open Abigail's house in San Saba. Which will be a shelter for battered and abused women and their children. Dee Vickery is the founder of this ministry and I stand behind what she is doing and how she will help many because of her own past and what God is doing with her in the present. So please pray for me as I take on this great undertaking and that many will come along side of me and help me make these grocery bags full of play food to help open this shelter for battered and abuse women and children and bring GLORY to God and all that HE will do to help them be overcomers and not "victims"

Countdown to Thanksgiving & Christmas

It's that time of year again....can you just smell the pumpkin pies, the Turkey & dressing, and all the laughter of family! Thanksgiving is my favorite time of year as well as Christmas. So enjoy what time you have with your family members, love them, laugh with them and count your blessings....

Rhema word from God to me!

Praise God, I am too excited! I have been going through this book called "Shattering Your Strongholds" and I am now teaching this class on Wednesday nights. So this week it was on chpt 6 which is about forgiving and repenting...and as God has it with me, we don't teach it unless we walk in it...so I had to forgive two people who I felt had hurt me in the past, and go to my family and repent of my neglect and hurt toward them...and for isolating myself from them, and so that I was able to do and praise God for that...but in the midst of studying for this class, I began to see how sickness in our body is really tied to unforgiveness...the bible say's that a root of bitterness springs up like a cancer, so I began to look up on the internet sickness that we develop that could be related to unforgiveness or bitterness....and I found this bible study someone had done on Prov 18:14 that say's "the spirit of a man sustains an infirmity, and a wounded spirit who can bear", and I really believe God lead me to this scripture so that I could see how by my keeping in bitterness, resentment, unforgiveness etc...that I was sustaining, holding in, nourishing (as the greek word says)my infirmity and therefore I repented of this and made it right with others...so Im on my way to being totally healed in Jesus Name! YEAH

Great book check it out!

I have been going through classes on this book- "Shattering Your Strongholds" and I posted the website for you to go and order the book....Oh my goodness if you want to shake things loose within your soul (or should I say "unsurrendered" soul) then this book is for you...I've loved the results that I personally have been experiencing and seeing what God is doing in my life since going through this study....Don't just read the book..."do the book"...

I've had so much fun today....watching Jaleigh this afternoon, she made me laugh so hard I wet my pants..LOL, she kept taking off my red glasses and screaming and laughing and I was laughing cause she was laughing....too funny!
